Valencia sent a "spy" to get additional information on Barcelona before his trip to Camp Nou this weekend, but it was a little different from the history of Leeds United-Derby County.

A teddy bear from Los Che's mascot went to Barcelona today and documented the trip in its entirety on social networks, with some really hilarious tweets:

And the best thing came in the form of written notes to watch train behind the bushes – the highlight being "Messi = good". Spot on the badysis.

An hour hidden behind the bushes, but I saw the session. I took some notes to give to the team. Next stop in enemy territory: large_blue_circle :: red_circle: pic.twitter.com/H1fPlfRwIX

The big mission stopped when Valencia announced the signatures of Ruben Sobrino and Fernando Roncaglia, but an update arrived later.

Messi was back on Wednesday as Barca beat Sevilla 6-1 to qualify for the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey.

He started the game by handing the ball over to Philippe Coutinho, who took a penalty from the start, demonstrating his leadership qualities by strengthening the Brazilian's confidence in the process.

Then, after getting a decisive pbad for Sergi Roberto, he made a superb pbad from Barca at sixth base and highlighted a spectacular win for Blaugrana.

Valencia should really do more spying …
