VentureBeat is looking for a leader to manage the content of our expanding events focused on artificial intelligence. This content for event managers will report directly to the CEO and oversee speaker recruitment and content planning for VentureBeat's event portfolio, including Transform – the premier event for business leaders who want to understand and apply implement a pragmatic artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will help determine the broad themes of each VentureBeat event and liaise with VB's internal stakeholders in the areas of sales, marketing and writing.
You will also be responsible for proactively contacting senior leaders and speakers, reviewing speaker submissions, ranking potential speakers, and finding selected speakers for each of the VentureBeat events.
requirements:
- 10 years of experience in the industry, preferably with experience in the field of technologies
- Strong knowledge of trends in data, artificial intelligence and the cloud
- Experience in securing C-level speakers for technology events
- Extensive personal network of executives, public relations agencies and representatives of large companies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to influence and articulate value in partnerships
- Pbadion for AI and transformation technologies
- Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Project management skills
- Expertise in strategy a plus
