If you're in favor of a good rom-com, we feel like you'll want to make an appointment with Amazon. Modern love this autumn. The series of anthologies in eight episodes will fall on Friday, October 18, the banner announced Saturday.
Inspired by the New York Times column and podcast of the same name, Modern love will explore love "in all its complicated and beautiful forms", using self-contained half-hour vignettes to bring to life some of the most beloved stories in the column.
And if Modern loveThe logline does not interest you, it is certain that the cast will be composed of: Tina Fey, Anne Hathaway, Brandon and Victor Dixon (Power), John Slattery (Mad Men), Julia Garner (Ozark), John Gallagher, Jr. (The press room) and Cristin Milioti (Black mirror). Behind the camera, episode directors include Shameless"Emmy Rossum and DisasterIs Sharon Horgan.
Amazon has also released a trailer for the series, which features ephemeral clips of the upcoming eight timelines. (And judging by the coolness between Fey and Slattery's characters, it does not seem that all these love stories are so hot and unclear)
Earlier Saturday, the streaming platform unveiled a first look at Jack RyanThe second season, which will feature John Krasinski's CIA Officer on a heartbreaking mission to South America.
