The first night of Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, Walt disney world unveiled new lighting features around the Main Entrance Plaza, where changing color lights connect the new fountain to the edge of surrounding buildings.
What is happening:
- There is new magic in store for guests at EPCOT with new background music in the main entrance plaza and new lighting features that bring the surrounding buildings into the theming of the new fountain.
- As shown in the video above, the perimeter lighting moves around the square, changing color as it goes.
- Lighting improvements come to Spaceship Earth in the future which are also supposed to be related to these new features.
- In addition to the new background music, which debuted today, Masts installed by disney which pay homage to the original icons of the park pavilion.
