A Florida burglary suspect identified as Demetrius Lewis shot a judge during a virtual court appearance on Thursday, February 4.

During the court appearance, the man told the judge how beautiful she was and even went so far as to profess his love for her.

The judge identified as Tabitha Blackmon smiled and let the suspect know her flattery would not work in court.

The suspect had said:

“Judging you [are] judge so magnificent, so magnificent, I just had to tell you. You are beautiful. I love you. I love you.”

The judge was flattered and replied:

“Very well Mr. Lewis. Flattery will take you everywhere. But maybe not here.

Lewis faces a charge of attempted burglary and possession of the ecst * sy drug.

After that same video was shared by Linda Ikeji’s blog, Nigerians took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.

In a previous report, a burglar identified as Marius Petrikas broke into a bar, had a drink and destroyed some properties before falling asleep on a sofa.

The 30-year-old was found asleep after the bar owner heard him snoring.

Marius destroyed a property worth £ 21,450 (N 11,225,274.06) in the Newcastle pub.

The incident happened in August 2020 and the young man was tried in court after being arrested by police.
