Howard X says officials told him his visa was "invalid", but he received no explanation as to why
An imitator of Kim Jong-un was expelled from Vietnam before the meeting of the real North Korean leader with US President Trump in Hanoi this week.
Howard X, a resident of Hong Kong, last week organized a false summit with trump mimic, Russell White.
The two men were then arrested for questioning by the Vietnamese police and forced to stop all political jokes.
Howard X says that officials have since told him that his visa was "invalid", but that he had not received any other explanation.
"Satire is a powerful weapon against any dictatorship.They are afraid of a few guys who look like the real thing," Howard X told reporters, who wore a black suit and thick dark glbades in Kim's fashion Jong-un. .
He and White took part in a false summit in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, telling reporters that they had plans to reduce North Korea's nuclear ambitions.
"We are working for peace, through negotiations, through dialogue, we want to help North Korea of course," said Canadian-born White to reporters at the time, dressed in Donald Trump.
"I hope that he will be able to forget all my nuclear missiles and lift the sanctions," responded Howard X, a full-time impressionist who went to Singapore in anticipation of the first North-American summit. -Korean of last year.
The men were then arrested by the police while they were interviewing a local television channel.
Vietnamese police ordered the two men to stop their identity theft and said that they could only move into the city with an approved route and escort, according to the police. AFP press agency.
"The real reason is that I was born with a face that looks like Kim Jong-un, that's the real crime," Howard X said.

He added that he thought he was deported because the North Korean leader had "no sense of humor".
Kim's look-alike took part in similar satirical stunts at the first US-North Korean summit in Singapore last year.
He was also escorted by security at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea after dancing in front of North Korea's cheerleading troupe.
President Trump and Kim Jong-un are scheduled to meet in Hanoi on February 27-28 for talks that should aim to persuade North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons program.
Their first summit in Singapore last June generated significant coverage and optimism, but delivered very few concrete developments.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to denuclearization, without giving details of how this would be done or verified.
