Mahama Fresh Story Slek John Dramani Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama asks which government is conducting the investigation following the violence on the NDC members at the Ayawaso by-election in Accra, according to MyNewsGh. com.

The former president, who has been urged by many political experts to win the NDC primaries next week, said the government clearly knew where all the "boys" who took part in the violence came from, and that he was wondering the reason for being an "investigation".

Mr. Mahama warmly congratulated the State Minister for National Security, Bryan Acheampong, for preparing to face the NDC in court.

"All those who have been injured by guns, we will find them lawyers, and they will sue those who did that. We will sue them for adequate compensation. Bryan Acheampong says that he ordered it. We will pursue it as an individual. Bryan Acheampong should prepare himself. He said that he had done it, he is a candidate in court. Mahama said.

Mr. Mahama was speaking in North Tongu during his tour of the Volta Region last week, through MyNewsGh.com's regional correspondent for the Volta.

Mr. Mahama added that the government knew where the "rogue thugs" came from.

"You know where these people come from. The images are there. Our people have almost all identified them. They are invisible and the Delta forces are wearing police uniforms with SWAT vehicles, "he said.

Mr. Mahama also revealed that the vehicles used by thugs having received the identity of national security were vehicles purchased under the NDC when Colonel Gbevlo Lartey was the national security coordinator. He warned that the then NDC government had not purchased the vehicles for disruption.

"These vehicles, we bought them. Colonel Gbevlo Lartey bought them. We did not use these vehicles to disrupt the peace of Ghana. "

Mahama urged NDC members to remain calm and badure them of his commitment to protect them.

"I ask all members of the NDC to remain calm. Do not disturb the peace. The ball is the court of the government. We are monitoring what investigation will take place. But we will not sit down. All those who have been wounded by guns, we will find them lawyers and they will sue those who did that. We will sue them for adequate compensation. Bryan Acheampong says that he ordered it. We will pursue it as an individual. Bryan Acheampong should prepare himself. He said he did, he is a candidate in court. Mahama told the crowd.
