Ambbadador Kwesi Quartey, Vice President of the Commission of the African Union, said that he trusted the investigative commission set up to investigate the recent violence at the African Union. By-election of Ayawaso West Wuogon.

He however asked for impartiality throughout the investigation process.

He asked for this, although it is certain that the work of the commission could be the beginning of the essential steps towards the dissolution of the political vigilance groups that threaten the survival of the country's democracy.
