Violent protests erupt in Damongo, capital of the savannah

According to Graphic Online's Northern Region correspondent Mohammed Fugu, Damongo's announcement as the regional capital by President Akufo-Addo has met with mixed reactions, with the majority of people approving the announcement.

The protest, however, combat Salaga deserved more this honor because it has better facilities adapted to a regional capital than Damongo.
