In two days, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo will present again a smartphone in a promising design, as it had done at the World Congress of the mobile telephony with the Vivo Apex Fullview. At that time, the device was impressed by a screen occupying 98% of the smartphone's surface and by a built-in fingerprint sensor on the screen. Similar to Xiaomi's Mi Mix, Vivo used a piezo-electronic solution instead of a headset for the speaker, while the front camera is removed from the case when the selfie mode is activated.
The smartphone concept eventually led, among other things, to the Vivo Nex Ultimate business model. Other smartphones with full screens and removable cameras are also available at other brands such as Oppo, Honor and Xiaomi.

Now Vivo looks back to the future. The manufacturer will introduce the Vivo Apex 2019 smartphone concept on January 24 under the umbrella of the BBK Group. The company has already announced this with a teaser image with date The rudimentary images illustrated and presented in a short video make the picture curious.
Looks like Vivo has developed a smartphone with a completely frontal screen, without hardware buttons or physical connections. According to reports, Vivo let pbadersby feel the smartphone in China without even seeing it. According to participants, the Vivo Apex 2019 is a one-stop shop with no edges, seams and slits. This would require, for example, wireless battery charging, a wireless headset connection, a fingerprint sensor pressed into the screen or facial recognition via a removable camera system.
The good thing is this: with a smartphone concept, the manufacturer can go beyond the limits of what is technically possible or practical. However, last year, the Vivo Nex Ultimate was quite similar to the first Apex concept. Designer Ben Geskin shows what the new Vivo Apex 2019 looks like in a Smartphone Concept (top photo).
