Mr. James Gunu, regional secretary of the Volta's National Democratic Congress (CND), urged Ghanaians, especially party supporters, to fully participate in the Ghana card registration exercise, which started in the region this Monday, July 22nd.

He said: "The CND of the Volta Region wishes to encourage everyone, including party followers, to participate in the ongoing Ghana card registration exercise. The map of Ghana is not valid for any political party, but for us all, so everyone must participate, even if the exercise has not given enough days.

Mr. Gunu was speaking to party supporters at a "revival rally" on the theme "mobilize all available resources for the 2020 victory" on Sunday in Agbozume, in the southern Ketu constituency of the Volta region.

He urged NDC followers to encourage their households to register and ignore any act of intimidation by opposition parties.

Mr. Gunu called for unity of the party before the parliamentary primaries and urged members to accept the results of the selection of candidates and the election of candidates in parliamentary elections.

Mr. Bright Kumordzi, NDC President for Ketu South, urged all delegates to choose the best candidate for the MP and congratulated the constituency candidates for working together in peace.

The fundraiser brought together branch leaders, current and former constituency leaders, as well as all constituency aspirants, to mobilize resources for the realization of the party's 2020 agenda.
