Swedish automaker Volvo is recalling more than one million vehicles worldwide, as some engine components may melt, a spokesman said.
In the worst case, the problem could lead to engine fires, said the spokesman Saturday.

However, Volvo has not received any complaints about it.
According to the Swedish broadcaster SVT, the problem concerns four-cylinder diesel engine models manufactured between 2014 and 2019.
This includes the V40, V60, V70, S80, XC60 and XC90.
The recall is the second bad news for the Chinese automaker this week: Volvo announced Thursday a sharp drop in profits in the second quarter of 2019, despite a significant increase in sales.
