UG Report: Electors demand apology from Aowin MP

Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Aowin, in the Western Region, are apologizing to their MP, the Hon. Mathias Kwame Ntow, during the recent survey of the University of Ghana.

The report released Monday, June 10, on the performance of the 275 deputies of the University of Ghana revealed that 180 incumbent deputies would be likely to be removed from office if elections were held today. .

This means that only 95 MEPs will probably retain their seats in 2020.

Unfortunately, the Hon. Kwame Ntow has been ranked among the worst-performing MPs in the country.

Unhappy with the report, the wounded voters said in a statement released on Thursday: "UG's report is a complete shame for us voters, and so he must apologize to the brave people of Aowin."

"For a member of Parliament, serving his third term is ranked 268th out of 275 and last in the entire West and North West region, it's only a big shame!", They added.

PRESS RELEASE

NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY – CONSTITUTION AURAINE

APOLOGIZE TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF AOWIN!

June 13, 2019.

The new patriotic party in the riding of Aowin, by this statement to the press, calls the member, the Hon. MathiasKwame Ntow to do the honorable thing and apologize to the people of Aowin in his constituency for the humiliations inflicted on the constituency through the latest ranking of MPs in Ghana according to the survey of the Department of Political Science of the University of Ghana.

We want to let the hon. Member know if his advisers have not said, his ranking in UG's latest report is a total shame for us voters, so he has to apologize to the good people of Aowin ! For a deputy, serving his third term is ranked 268th out of 275 and last in the entire West and North West region, this is only a big shame!

Although we, members of the NPP and other well-meaning constituents, are not totally surprised by the result of the SURVEY with the UG, because it is a faithful reflection of his abysmal performance * as a Member of Parliament, however, we demand immediate apologies from the MP for at least mitigating the humiliation of the constituency. As a responsible party, while wishing to remove him from office, we urge the member to step up his game to avoid such humiliation in the riding. The public ridicules the constituency as a result of its actions and inactions becomes too difficult for voters to bear. As a member of parliament, he should be seen in the Chamber of Deputies to defend the development of his constituency, even in the media, for a judicious use of the common fund, etc.

Finally, we urge the good people of Aowin not to fall for the usual propaganda of the NDC and the MP. Instead, we should draw a clue from this report and agree with the NPP that the hon. Member * DOES NOT CREDITABLY. It is a total failure and a disappointment for the inhabitants of Aowinhence. Therefore, we must expel * to come * in 2020 *. We should have absolute confidence in the NPP and its candidate and vote mbadively for the NPP by 2020, as we did in 2004, which undeniably brought the best development to the constituency. The hon. Member will continue to be what he is and will never change, no matter how lucky we are to give him. A "decorated monkey, they say, is still a monkey", as he was with the Honorable Mathias KwameNtow and his NDC.
