Counting is underway in Nigeria after Saturday's presidential election. The outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari, is seeking to run for a second term, in a race that could be described as tight with former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
The election commission has extended voting hours in some places where polling stations opened late and polling stations have malfunctioned.
Now, many Nigerians are watching election officials closely to make sure there is no cheating in the election. The emotions remain strong and it is feared that a controversial result will lead to violence.
