Nana Ampomah should be away for weeks
The Waasland-Beveren relegation battle was badly hit by the injury of Ghana winger Nana Amponsah.
Ampomah has been on the bench for several weeks after being injured in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Sint-Truiden.
The 23-year-old suffered a setback on the STVV synthetic turf field and had to leave the stadium in a wheelchair.
Ampomah, who has scored seven goals in 22 league games, remains the key to the club in the relegation zone.
Waasland-Beveren is second in the standings with 22 points after 25 laps.
