Caleb Kudah, of Citi News, announced that a blue vehicle from Hyundai Elentra had been promptly sent to Accra Central District Police Headquarters to oppose his arrest and provoke the escape of two drivers astray because of his behavior.

The driver of the vehicle was stopped for taking the wrong side of the road. She also attempted to badault a journalist after her arrest.

Simon Tenkuu, ASP, of the Police's Public Affairs Directorate, said that the exercise had been largely successful, even though it was stressful because of the high number of disobedgements to the Highway Code .

He told Citi News in an interview that the police were firmly in control of the situation and were doing their best to ensure mental health on the road.

"We are firm and in control. Those who offended the law are sent to the Achimota police station for treatment in court. We will ensure that this exercise is maintained. We want to warn all motorists to respect the law. We do this for their safety. We do it for reasons of order and we want everyone to cooperate with us by respecting the rules of the road, "he said.
