Alhbadan Wakaso Alhbadan Wakaso in action for Vitoria Guimaraes

Portugal's Vitoria Guimaraes dismissed Ghana midfielder Alhbadan Wakaso when Turkish player Besiktas was transferred during the transfer in January, PrimeNewsGhana said.

According to sources, the player appeared in the Turkish team's wishbooks, but the case was blocked by Guimaraes.

Besiktas offered 500,000 euros to the Portuguese formation to lend him the Ghanaian international with an option to buy during the summer transfer window, but they rejected the offer.

Although the deal was hot and tempting, Victoria Guimaraes was only able to answer negatively to the agreement between the Black and White.

The reason is that Besiktas' bid was made just after Guimaraes loaned Colombian midfielder Guillermo Celis to the Argentinian Colon team.

Guimaraes, 27, has scored 23 goals this season.

Alhbadan is the younger brother or midfielder of the Alaves and Black Stars, Mubarak Wakaso.
