WEBB CITY, MONTH – Local teachers were given gifts and a chance to win a box of school supplies.
Walmart hosted a Teacher Appreciation Day.
More than 50 teachers visited the Webb City Walmart where cupcakes, cakes, ice creams, selfies and free products were offered.
There was also a raffle where they could win a box filled with school supplies.
"We are very grateful for the opportunities we have to come and get things for our clbad because we really love our children, we have spent a lot of time and effort and we value the community that supports us in this way." said Kendra Blevins, a teacher at South Elementary.
Teachers also left with suitcases filled with tools from Crayola, Fiskars, etc.
