WandaVision’s Kat Dennings has excitedly stated that she would be interested in staring alongside Randall Park in an X-Files spinoff series.
Writer and Teen wolf actor Stephen Ford launched a X-Files-as a spin-off series featuring WandaVisionJimmy Woo (Randall Park) on Twitter shortly after the start of Episode 4 of the show, “We Interrupt This Program.” The episode took a break from the show’s sitcom format to focus on Woo and Lewis solving the Westview mystery, which inspired Ford’s post.
Since its viral Twitter post, Ford has been working on a pitch for the series, prompting interviewers to ask if Woo’s astrophysicist partner Dr. Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) would team up with Woo. When Extra asked if she would play alongside Park, Dennings replied, “Oh my God, I am! I am.”

“If that happens,” she added, “I’ll be there”.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor previously said, “I’ve heard rumbles from people saying that,” referring to the supernatural crime spinoff show in development with Disney + / Marvel Studios. She added, “Which I’ll take with a grain of salt. But I mean, I’ll be working with Randall Park any day.” Park has also expressed interest, calling the idea “amazing”.
Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings Star Simu Liu also expressed support for the show, requesting a cameo in the series on Twitter. On February 5, Ford announced that his tweets, the support of his fans, Liu and others may have “opened doors” on the project. However, he added a note of caution, saying, “I can’t express how much of an underdog I am in this scenario, so get too excited, but keep your fingers crossed and thank you to everyone who made this possible. “
Woo (Randall Park) entered the MCU in 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp, portraying Scott Lang’s parole officer, charged with ensuring that he remains under house arrest after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Lewis’ character debuted in 2011 Thor, representing the assistant to Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) while studying astrophysics. Woo and Lewis both find themselves recruited by SWORD to help rescue the missing from the fictional town of Westview which appears to be built and controlled by Wanda in WandaVision.
Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. New episodes air Fridays on Disney +.
