SHS students writing the West African Secondary School Certificate Exam (WASSCE)
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has reprogrammed its Physics and Business Management papers as part of the ongoing West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) exam for the next month.
In its press release signed by the chief of the test administration division, George Ohene-Mantey, the WAEC noted that the physics articles 1 and 2 will be written on Friday, October 1 at 8:30 a.m., while the management articles Company 1 and 2 are scheduled for Thursday, October 7. , at 1 pm.
Principals across the country have been urged to adhere to the new dates and pass the information on to applicants accordingly.
It comes after WAEC, following its investigations, discovered that extracts from the 2021 elective math and English tests had been found in the public domain.
Due to fears of article leaks, articles on physics and business management have been postponed.
In previous interactions with the media, Mr. Ohene-Mantey said that WAEC will deploy various internationally accepted assessment procedures and interventions in its field to ensure the credibility of the results and that those who are found guilty will be punished.
The ongoing WASSCE for school applicants began on August 16, this year at 763 centers.
So far 33 papers including Arabic Financial Accounting, French, Graphic Design, Mathematics (electives), Biology and English Language have been administered.
