Machine Gun Kelly shared the video for their new single “Papercuts,” which stars Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. “Papercuts” is the first preview of Kelly’s next album. Born with horns, that he announced earlier this week.
Kelly has now shared “Papercuts” with a video directed by Cole Bennett that features Barker, who executive produces Born with horns, play the drums. Kelly is also seen in the clip sporting a shaved head, a look he first showed on social media earlier this week. You can watch the video for “Papercuts” below.
Kelly and Barker showed off their matching “Born With Horns” tattoos earlier this week to celebrate the announcement of the debut’s new album, which will follow up last year’s one. Tickets for my fall.
Last month, Machine Gun Kelly surprised fans with a last-minute set at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. He took to the sidestage of the Bud Light Seltzer Sessions to perform in front of a crowd “20 times” what space allowed, according to Billboard.
Kelly’s eight-track set included the track “Kiss Kiss” from Tickets To My Downfall and a cover of “Misery Business” by Paramore. MGK then went through several other clips from his latest album, including “Bloody Valentine” and “My Ex’s Best Friend”.
In May, he released a video for his latest hit single, “love race”. Starring Kellin Quinn (who also appears on the runway) as the bloodthirsty killer on the loose, the video shows the Sleeping With Sirens frontman ruining a memorable trip to the woods with his murderous manner.
The song has over 25 million global streams and 16.2 million streams only on Spotify. He also performed the song on Ellen last week, which garnered 1 million views and was all the rage on YouTube. Machine Gun Kelly won big at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, taking home the awards for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Artist. It also won the Alternative Rock Song of the Year award for “Bloody Valentine” at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
