Fiddler on the Roof's production in Yiddish, curated by the critically acclaimed National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene (NYTF), begins tonight at Stage 42 (422 W 42nd St.) for a limited engagement until the 30th. June 2019.

The unprecedented success of this Yiddish-language production of Fiddler, accompanied by surtitles in English and Russian, was presented by NYTF at the 36 Battery Place, then extended and sold four times after its premiere on 4 July 2018. It was held until December 30, 2018.

Led by Joel Gray, winner of an Oscar and a Tony Award, Fiddler's casting on the Roof in Yiddish includes Steven Skybell, Broadway veteran, Tevye, Jackie Hoffman, winner of an Emmy Award, Yante, Jennifer Babiak, Golde, Joanne Borts, Sheyndl, Michael Einav as Together; Lisa Fishman Bobe Tsatyl, Kirk Geritano as Avrom; Abby Goldfarb in Swing Woman; Samantha Hahn as Beylke; Cameron Johnson as Fyedka; John Giesige as a swing / dance captain; Ben Liebert as Motl Kamzoyl; Moshe Lobel as a lining; Stephanie Lynne Mason as Hodl; Evan Mayer as Sasha; Rosie Jo Neddy as Khave; Raquel Nobile as Shprintze; Jonathan Quigley as Together; Nick Raynor as Yosl; Bruce Sabath under the name of Leyzer-Volf; Kayleen Seidl as Together; Drew Seigla as Perchik; Adam B.
