The Hornets finalized the signing of the Nigerian Youth International on a free transfer after the expiry of his contract at Etihad Stadium

Premier League club Watford has announced the arrival of Nigerian Tom Dele-Bashiru for a six-year contract.

Dele-Bashiru left Manchester City on the expiry of his contract and is now pursuing his career at Vicarage Road until 2024.

The 19-year-old midfielder was part of the Nigerian U-20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2019 in Poland. He scored a goal in three games before qualifying for the round of 16.

Dele-Bashiru is the second summer rookie of the Javi Gracia team after Craig Dawson's transfer from West Bromwich Albion.

The midfielder will join his compatriot Isaac Success at Vicarage Road while he looks to play regularly in the 2019-20 campaign.

During his stay in Manchester City, Dele-Bashiru was part of the club's youth team and made his professional debut as a substitute in the 91st minute in his quarterfinal match of the FIFA Women's Cup. League vs Leicester City in December 2017.
