LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (WDRB) – WDRB and WBKI returned to DIRECTV and AT & T U-verse, a week after suppliers suddenly removed the stations from their list.
After weeks of intense negotiations, Block Communications, owner of WDRB and WBKI, entered into a new distribution agreement with AT & T, ending a service outage that began on March 15.
"We are delighted to serve all our viewers," said WDRB President and CEO Bill Lamb. "We were overwhelmed by phone calls from DIRECTV and U-Verse customers who were upset that we could not see each other, and many of them called these providers to express their concerns. their patience and support over the past week. "
Lamb then thanked local lawmakers, including Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, for their efforts to keep lines of communication open.
