Standards CommitteeNEW Standards Committee

The Ghanaian federation's standardization committee denied having claimed to be in possession of FIFA's legal reports that allowed former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi any financial irregularities.

After the unveiling of the standardization committee, FIFA revealed that a forensic audit would be conducted with the administration headed by Kwesi Nyantakyi.

However, on Monday, May 27, reports revealed that the governing body of world football had cleared Mr. Nyantakyi and members of the Executive Committee under his mandate and would not be subject to any prosecution.

According to reports, chairman of the commission, Dr. Kofi Amoah is not excited about the conclusion of FIFA and therefore wishes that a new audit be conducted.

But a member of the standardization committee, Naa Adofoley Nortey, dismissed the complaint, denying having knowledge of such a report to the committee's bureau.

"I was very surprised when I read that FIFA had completed its forensic audit and that there were no charges against Mr. Nyantakyi," he said. she said, quoted by modernghana.com.

"The standardization committee has received nothing from FIFA.

"We know how FIFA works in terms of communication to the public – visit the FIFA website and see if there is something similar."

Naa Adofoley categorically falsified the report, urging the public not to take it into account.

"There is nothing like that over there and I can confirm that we have not received anything like that."

"The publication was wrong and I will urge the public not to pay attention.

"We were even discussing when FIFA will share its comments on the forensic audit and, in my opinion, nothing has been communicated to us by FIFA. accurate information and not to lie about the standardization commission. "

Mr. Nyantakyi resigned as President of the Ghana Football Federation after being heavily exposed to Anas Aremeyaw Anas' "Issue 12" video investigation.

However, he contests the lifelong prohibition of any activity related to football at the sports arbitration court.
