Minister of Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah confirmed that his team was involving the Ghanaian Standards Committee on the payment of bonuses to Ghana's national youth teams.
The bonus payments to the youth teams raised questions, many of them insisting on giving money to young footballers from a very young age, which creates a mentality of right.
However, the Worker Minister reiterated that young players must win from this sport, they must also be imbued with the spirit of volunteering and sacrifice for the common good, especially towards their country.
Asiamah told the Public Accounts Committee: "We are working with the Standards Committee on some of these commitments. As a country, we should consider providing players under the age of 17 with scholarships or scholarship support as a reward. "
"The decision will soon be made on the future of these allowances, bonuses and payments to our junior teams.
"We need to seriously consider these things in order to incorporate a sense of volunteerism.
