We compared the shopping experience in Walmart and Rite Aid pharmacies, and the pharmacy chain came out on top.

"Pharmacy" may not be the first word you badociate with Walmart. But, according to a study by the Drug Channels Institute, the hypermarket retailer operates one of the largest pharmacy chains in the United States.

Rite Aid is also a leading pharmacy chain, with nearly 2,500 stores in 19 states.

Rite Aid and Walmart both offer similar products and services, such as flu vaccines and over-the-counter medications. But each offers a very different customer experience – and for something as personal as health and wellness, the customer experience is essential.

We shopped in both pharmacies and found that even though it was well stocked, Walmart's pharmacy and pharmacy are derisory compared to Rite Aid. Overall, Rite Aid has offered a more personal experience of pharmacy and pharmacy. This, as well as the organized layout of the store, convinced us.
