Beston Chambeshi, Nkana FC coach
The coach of Nkana FC, Beston Chambeshi, said that he was focusing on a strategy to stop the whole Kotoko team and not just on individual players.
Nkana FC will host Asante Kotoko on Matchday 3 of the Nkana stadium in Kitwe, CAF Confederation Cup Sunday.
Coach Chambeshi is confident that his team will prevent Songne Yacouba, who is Kotoko's offensive threat, from wreaking havoc on them on match day.
Nkana's coach spoke before the match, with a lot of confidence. "We are preparing for the whole team, not a single player (Sogne Yacouba)," he told the Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.
He acknowledged the threat that Yacouba could impose on his side, but insisted that the Burkinabés would not mark the day of the match.
"He's a good player, but he does not score and I'm not sure he'll score against us." We'll attack Kotoko as if it were our style, flowing football, "he said. he added.
