Bernard Avle, host of the Citi FM Breakfast Show
Bernard Avle, host of Citi FM's Breakfast Breakfast, blamed Christians and religious "fanatics" for not having played an active role in the country's development because of misguided interests and fear of reprisals.
According to journalist Bernard Avle of the year 2017, the message of prosperity has taken up the message of sufficiency and simplicity, adding that some so – called Christians are still enslaved by greed and selfishness.
"The church today seems to be imprisoned. The message of prosperity has resumed and eclipsed the message of sufficiency and simplicity. We are hitting our hands and firing on the devil, while our minds are still enslaved by the chains of greed and selfishness. "
Bernard Avle, speaker at a public conference on "Rethinking the National Conversation"
On Tuesday evening, at the Swiss Spirit Hotel & Alisa Hotel, some pastors whom he best describes as "high-pitched costume, dressed in extravagant cloaks dressed in prophetic prophets", were repressed for pushing the media for the wrong reasons.
Regarding the national cathedral, Mr. Avle said that some Ghanaian Christians were concerned about the government's commitment to build a national cathedral.
He mentioned that the Bible explains that God does not live in temples made with hands.
He explained that Christians who should be better informed about the relevance or otherwise of the National Cathedral are all silent because they have been reduced to political fanatics.
"We became attached to a national cathedral when Christ made it clear that God does not reside in temples made with hands. And many more knowledgeable Christians will remain silent because, for them, membership in the Church now resembles the fanatical support of their favorite football team. "
Bernard Avle, who is also the host of Citi TV's flagship Point of View show, also said it was unfortunate that some Ghanaians had raised "miracles, signs and wonders" to the detriment of more relevant issues of law, justice, faith and mercy. "
He also added that some churches had formed fanatical followers but had failed in their role as growing followers of Christ.
"We have raised the place of miracles, signs and wonders and neglected the more important issues of law, justice, faith and mercy. We have exalted the place of money and prosperity at the expense of morals and principles.
"We have idolized and challenged our overseers and yet our members do not even appreciate the basic principles of faith. We have built fanatical followers of church brands, but we have failed in the role of growing followers of Christ. "
Bernard Avle lists 10 problems that Ghana must tackle to improve its lives
Bernard Koku Avle also proposed a strategic structure that, once put in place by the country's leaders, would allow ordinary Ghanaians to not have to endure the myriad of challenges that make life unbearable.
In what he described as the "framework for a new national discourse", Mr.Avle said that the surest way for Ghana to make meaningful progress in development is to move away from political divisions and focus on these 10 priorities.
The proposals included the areas of transport, education, health and the deeply rooted corruption that continues to affect the country.

Mr. Avle has received consistent praise for his work at the Citi Breakfast Show and has revealed himself to be a key influencer of public opinion.
He has been at the forefront of critical campaigns against illegal small-scale mining and the reopening of the University of Ghana Medical Center, which was a replacement for the general challenges of the abandoned health projects.
