Tito Sajivan, badistant coach of the Pharaohs of Egypt, told Asaba Sunday that his team would not take chances with Nigeria's Super Eagles in their friendly match.
The Eagles will host the Pharaohs on Tuesday at Stephen Keshi Stadium of Asaba in a friendly international match.
Moments after the team's arrival in Asaba on Sunday, Sajivan told reporters that they were about to do their best and secure the win against Nigerians.
NOPE reports that the Egyptian side arrived in Asaba from the Republic of Niger where she drew 1-1 with the hosts in their last qualifying group match on Saturday.
The coach said that playing against a strong team like Nigeria required seriousness and commitment, and that his team of young and talented players should be in the best of shape to win.
"It's a very important match because Nigeria is a solid team and it's our last friendly match before the tournament.
"We will do our best to win. Of course, we are a strong team, but Nigeria is also a strong team. For us, this match is crucial and we have a group of young players here and the good players for the match.
"We have 24 players on board for our friendly match against Nigeria on Tuesday, with about 50 members of the delegation," Sajivan said.
