The deputy of the Bosome-Freho constituency in the Ashanti region described the words of the leader and founder of Glorious Wave Church International, the prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, as being "barbarians".

The prophet Badu Kobi, in a video supposed to have been recorded on Sunday, July 28, became viral, saying that women from the Ashanti region are greedy, materialistic, disrespectful and money-conscious.

She will dress you up because the mother always speaks with her. I tell you the truth, I tell you the truth ooo!

In a sermon addressed to his congregation, the man of God was also heard: "Fanti women are sometimes stupid and sheep are also doormats. But for Ashanti women, no!

Reacting to Onua FM's Yen Sempa's number hosted by Bright Kwasi Asempa on Monday, the MP, who is also an Ashantian woman, said [Prophet Badu Kobi] do not speak as a man of God. He is not a man of God ".

Adwoa Akoh Dei therefore called on Ghana's Christian Council and the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council of Ghana to urgently reprimand the man of God for the words which, according to her, degrade women in the country.

"The Christian Council should reprimand him. They should bring him back to order because he is very racist and devilish, "he said.

She explained that "it is not true that the women of the sheep are pbaders-by. He degrades them. He also said that Fantis women are fools … what does he mean by that? This is never true.

Hate it forever

According to the MP, ashanti women are strong and ensure that their husbands succeed in life instead of being greedy.

"Ashanti women respect their husbands. The Ashantis work hard … they are strong, so he should apologize to the Ashanti women. If he does not apologize, we hate him forever, "she warned.

Ms. Akoh Dei called on women to rise up against such remarks.

Meanwhile, the head of the ministry of the generation of hope, the prophet Eric Akwasi Amponsah (Computer-Man), an Ashanti and married to an Ashanti woman, condemned the remarks of his male companion of God.

"It can be a tribal problem for this nation because my mother was illiterate but she helped the husband and me," he said.

He said that an Ashanti woman knows how to live with her husband and all his family, so "if we are not careful, what we say can bring chaos."

The prophet Akwasi Amponsah advised the prophet Badu Kobi to know that he had all the tribes in his church and therefore had to be cautious in his statements.
