Aduana Stars CAFConfed Aduana Stars football team

Oppong Kwaku Evans, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Aduana Stars football club, said his team would use the special Normalization Committee (NC) Cup to evaluate the players before the league resumes in the country.

He added that the club would evaluate the fitness and strength of the players by combining old and new players before the main season.

According to Mr. Evans, the team took advantage of the long break to recruit high school players, divisions 1 and 2, to strengthen them, adding that they would give these players the opportunity to show their talent.

"Many new players were recruited during the break, following the Anas Number 12 show.

"Our goal is not to win the NC competition, we do not present ourselves for an abysmal performance, and we face our match against Kumasi this Sunday with all the seriousness it deserves."

Mr Evans made the remarks during an interview with GNA Sports in Dormaa-Ahenkro about the team's preparations, in anticipation of his match against Kumasi Kotoko Asante on Sunday.

"We want to connect young players to alumni and provide them with an opportunity to learn from and benefit from the knowledge and skills of experienced former players to build morale."

"This would allow us to build a formidable camp for the main league," he said.
