Married at first sight, her husband, Nic Jovanovic, revealed that he was fighting cancer for the second time.
Testicular cancer was diagnosed four years ago, but he managed to overcome the disease after intense treatment.
But in December 2018, Jovanovic discovered on one of his testicles a "semi-hard ball" that led him to consult a doctor.
The doctor then diagnosed cancer for the second star of MAFS.
Jovanovic said that he had been devastated after working so hard to get fit and healthy after his first diagnosis in 2014.
"I could not believe it, four years later (…) there was so much going on in my life, so that it would come back, I'm still in shock."
"I was fit, I trained, I eat well, I do not use drugs, I hardly drink, I was the embodiment of health."
"How does it come down? Why? What did I do to deserve that? What did I do? What do I do? of badness?" he remembered wondering.
The 28-year-old revealed that he had delayed his surgery so that he could film scenes for MAFS.
MAFS's husband no longer has cancer starting in January thanks to surgery and chemotherapy.
Testicular cancer has a high survival rate, with 98% success at the first diagnosis and 96% if the cancer recurs.
