Marvel President Kevin Feige said the Fantastic Four would be part of the Marvel Film Universe (MCU) during his stint at Comic-Con International. Feige did not reveal when the Fantastic Four will appear on the big screens, but The ant man star Paul Rudd might know a thing or two about it.
Feige teases the return of the Fantastic Four
After a panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, Feige admitted to being enthusiastic about bringing characters like the Fantastic Four into the larger MCU. Feige did not share too much detail about the current projects, but he clarified that the cast had not started yet for the new franchises. Although it may run out a while before seeing any of these characters in action, it's official confirmation that we have not seen the last of the Fantastics Four.
"I am extremely excited about these characters and
bring the first Marvel family to the level and platform they have
deserve, "shared Feige.
Feige made the announcement with further revelations about
Phase 4. This includes sharing a calendar for future Marvel movies, such as Thor
Love and thunder, The eternals, Black Widow, and Doctor
Strange in the multiverse of madness. Marvel also announced plans for some
TV shows previewed on Disney's new streaming platform, Disney +.
Are the four fantastics already in the MCU?
according to the
Mix, internal sources claim that Marvel is considering adding the
Fantastic four in the MCU in an intelligent way. Producers would play
around with the idea that the Fantastic Four have already lived in the interior
the MCU and worked with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Wasp (Michelle)
Pfeiffer). The only reason we did not see them in a recent movie, is because
they got caught in the negative zone. The team managed to sort of get out of
the Negative Zone in one piece and will be featured in a next film.
This scenario is similar to what happened to Rudd's Ant-Man in Avengers:
End of Game. As fans will remember, the character was stuck in the Quantum Real
after Thanos killed half of life in the universe. When he came out of the
Quantum Realm, five years had pbaded, even if the character of Rudd had not aged
Meanwhile. Of course, Marvel has not confirmed any of these rumors.
Fans first theorized about this story in 2017, although
the details have changed a bit since the Infinity War saga.
Who will be the villain in Fantastic Four?
When the Fantastic Four were introduced in 1961, one of the first
Annihilus, who reigned over the negative zone, was the main villain they faced. So wonderfully
goes with the scenario of the negative zone, so it is possible that the next big
The villain facing the team is Annihilus. But there is a villain that the Reed
(Mr. Fantasy), Sue (Invisible Woman), Johnny (Human Torch) and Ben (Thing)
face that was more powerful than anything else: Doom.
In fact, Doom is one of the most powerful supervillains of all time – and one of Stan Lee's favorites. After the introduction of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, it is possible that Marvel releases Doom in Phase 4 or Phase 5.
In comics, Doom is a genius scientist who has created a very advanced armor (not very similar to Tony Stark). He also has an army of robots that are still waiting to protect him. He was even briefly Iron Man before becoming a villain again. Now that Thanos is no longer a threat, Doom would be a great badet for the future of the MCU.
Will the Fantastic Four introduce Silver Surfer?
Galactus and Silver Surfer are another great story from the Fantastic Four comics. Galactus is a mbadive cosmic entity that eats entire planets to survive. Silver Surfer plays the role of the herald of Galactus. As fans will remember, this plot was used in the movie Fantastic four: rise of the surfer moneyonly Galactus has been replaced by a large cloud.
If Marvel chooses this way, we can only hope that the studio does well Galactus and does not change comics too much.
Marvel has not released details about a potential Fantastic
Four movie.
