The real housewives of New York Luann de Lesseps had a difficult start with his friend Dorinda Medley. The two men had a painful exchange last season and were struggling to regain their friendship.
Even though de Lesseps disagreed with Medley, she was fighting serious demons. She was coming out of her rehab and faced a lawsuit from her children. While she weathered the storm, her friends Barbara Kavovit and Bethenny Frankel were at her side.
But once De Lesseps recovered, she made some biting comments in Frankel's back. Frankel has since reacted to the film, but Medley also spoke during his appearance on television. Watch what happens live after the show.
Frankel had the back of De Lesseps
The women reveal during the current season how serious things have become with Lesseps. During dinner, Kavovit, Frankel and Lesseps mentioned a case where de Lesseps had tried to buy a multi-million dollar house while he was drunk.
Kavovit and Frankel explain during the confessional talks that they had to intervene to finally help Lesseps to go back to rehab. Frankel even involved his boyfriend Dennis Shields in the intervention. Shields died suddenly later this summer, leaving Frankel devastated.
At the beginning of the season, Lesseps is relying heavily on Frankel. She confides in her and gravitates by his side during the filming of Kavovit. de Lesseps also admits that Frankel has been a lifesaver during a horrific period of his life.
But then she made these comments
Frankel's support seems to have faded since De Lesseps did a lot of digging on a trip to the Berkshires. When Medley says that Frankel will occupy "the best room" at home, de Lesseps does not hide it
During dinner, she expresses her frustration at the fact that Frankel has received the bedroom. But later, she went further while combing her hair. She met Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan in the city and mocked how Frankel had the best bedroom.
"I can not believe she's rolling her eyes," said Ramona Singer during an interview with a confessional. "After all that Bethenny has done to help her during the summer?"
What did Frankel think?
When Frankel was on Watch what's happening live, host Andy Cohen showed the Lesseps clip mocking Frankel. The public was not happy because a number of moans were heard.
Although Frankel claims not to regret having helped Lesseps, she lets her feelings become known. "It was a crisis," says Frankel. But "she's not supposed to pose the red carpet [for me] for the rest of my life. She really loves her title and she is entitled to it. The essential is good.
Later Frankel tweeted she thanks her supporters. "I like that you are all so invested and that you look religiously. I am so grateful that you are so protective of me and admonish anyone who is not nice to me. We must be kind to each other on the social or we become the people we watch and cringe. "
Medley also intervenes
Medley and Lesseps seem to catch up with the show. But Lesseps's comments about Frankel are not forgotten by Medley. Cohen asks Medley for his opinion during the WWHL after show.
A correspondent asks Medley if she feels justified after seeing how De Lesseps treated Frankel. "Absolutely," exclaims Medley. "You have to remember that it's not the first time, first there was Barbara, then me, then Bethenny, and you know, as Dr. Phil said," the past behavior is the future behavior ".
