Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was involved in a lively exchange with manager Jurgen Klopp in the draw against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Reds looking for the title and their hard-fought rivals played a disappointing draw at Old Trafford, but the score was enough for visitors to return to the top of the table.
The game may be remembered because of United's injury crisis as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was forced to make three changes in the first period.
Another notable incident was the exchange between Klopp and his skipper during the second period in Manchester.
The German tactician chose to replace the English midfielder in the 72nd minute, introducing Xherdan Shaqiri in his place.
But Henderson was apparently frustrated with this decision and seemed to ignore his boss and head for the distant canoe.
The fans quickly understood the incident and quickly began to speculate on what was being said between them.
The two men then took part in what looked like a heated exchange, Klopp seeming to say "you did not shake hands".
Henderson and his coach then shook hands, before the midfielder clumsily sat down to watch the rest of the action.
And the former Sunderland star would have been frustrated to see his team fail to find a breakthrough for Old Trafford.
James Milner, meanwhile, said that it was too early to say whether it would be a good point or a missed opportunity for Liverpool.
"A blank sheet is always nice, it's not easy, especially with the race they've done," he told Sky Sports.
"We did all the shopping, they did not have a lot of chances and we were dangerous with stopped games The least we wanted was a blank sheet and to see what had happened past.
"We are disappointed not to win, but I hope it's a good point at the end of the season."
