Blitz Bazawule
The director of The Burial of Kojo, Samuel Blitz Bazawule, told BBC News Africa about his film and the content of the film in his production, saying the content of Africa is unmatched.
According to Blitz, his film was shot through a magical and realistic lens and thus offers many fantastic images. Blitz, a visual artist, says he has found an opportunity to mix his art and music to bring out the film.
Blitz advised other filmmakers to take advantage of the accessibility of technology to tell visually incomparable stories about Africa.
The fantasy film tells the story of the tumultuous relationship between the two brothers Kojo and Kwabena, whose life is mingled with so much tension, subtle hatred and a thirst for revenge to be accomplished at all costs.
The film was shot in various breathtaking locations in Ghana and features newcomers Cynthia Dankwa, Joseph Otsiman and Kobina Amissah-Sam. Blitz Bazawule has produced 'The Burial Of Kojo' alongside Ama K Abebrese and Kwaku Obeng Boateng.
On Feb. 15, African-American director, screenwriter, producer, distributor and distributor Ava DuVernay announced on Twitter that she had made possible the creation of The Burial of Kojo, an original Ghanaian film that will be screened on Netflix by her company on March 31, 2019.
