What The Flash’s Grant Gustin Was Concerned About Playing In The Season 7 Premiere

I can understand Grant Gustin’s concern. Since Harry Wells and HR Wells are from the United States, Gustin just needed to appear gruff like the former and enthusiastic like the latter. Even for Wells the Gray, all that was needed was for the actor to channel the same kind of burgeoning authority that Ian McKellen delivered by playing Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings movies. But for Sherloque Wells, who was part of Team Flash during Season 5, Gustin found it harder for him to make the French accent authentic because he doesn’t actually speak the language.
