What Unai Emery said about the Arsenal transfer target, Christopher Nkunku

Arsenal's director, Unai Emery, is working hard to make additions for January. He has now identified an alternative to Denis Suarez.

After an injury to Adrien Rabiot, Emery said he trusted Nkunku to fill the gap in midfield PSG.

"He's training with us and he's progressing to play with us," said Emery.

He duly entered the first team and scored two goals in a match against Metz last March, prompting Emery to sing his praises.

Nkunku shared Emery 's feelings in the past and praised the impact the Arsenal boss had on him as a player.
