What Zinedine Zidane said when he was told of Real Madrid's interest in Paul Pogba

Zinedine Zidane hinted that Paul Pogba would have moved this summer.

The Manchester United midfielder became a transfer target for Real Madrid after Zidane's return to Bernabeu.

Pogba admitted that playing for the French legend would be a "dream" at the international truce and that last week the group could suggest Real to launch a £ 135m bid.

Zidane was unobtrusive about any interest and before the shock of his side with Huesca, he insisted that he was not fired on a transfer target.

But he talked a lot about Pogba, which was revitalized by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

Zinedine Zidane at the press conference

"I like Pogba a lot and you know it well. I know him very well, "Zidane said at his press conference.

"He's a different type of player and he can provide a lot of things with his skills, and he knows how to attack and defend himself.

"However, he is not my player, he plays for United and we have to respect him, he always said he loved Madrid."

Zidane's comments come amid new statements that Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has had talks with the European champions.

MARCA claims that Raiola informed Real of Pogba's desire to leave Manchester for Madrid and defend his idol.

Speaking last week, Pogba flirted with Real and suggested he jump on the occasion.

Will Pogba have his wish?

"As I've always said, Real Madrid is a dream for all, it's one of the biggest clubs in the world," Pogba said.

"There is also Zidane as a coach and it's a dream for all those who love football.

"For now, I'm in Manchester, we do not know what the future holds, I'm in Manchester and I'm happy."
