Who can add me to groups?
As it says in the official announcement, users can choose in the settings (Account> Privacy> Groups) they can not be found by anyone, by anyone or just by also in their contact list ("My Contacts"). Group chat can be invited.

72 hours
With the "Person" setting, you must accept each group invitation to join. "My contacts" means that only users in their address book can be added to groups. In these cases, the person who wants to invite a user to a group is invited to send him a private invitation via a personal chat. These can then be accepted within three days (72 hours) before they expire.
