You may be able to argue that when you have a half-brother and a half-sister, the link is not as strong as it came from the same mother. Not all families have this, but the theory seems to hold for the Markles.
Thomas Jr.'s letter to Harry denouncing the character of Meghan seems to confirm the above, and may be a warning about what the showbiz creates. Once someone in a family finds success as a celebrity, this can bring inevitable jealousies on the part of those with less talent.
Some think this is the case of Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Grant. Again, everything seems to come from the fact that Meghan allegedly hurt her father financially to embark on the acting career.
We already know that most of Thomas Jr.'s letters have turned out to be wrong, which does not give a pretty picture for the half-president in the eyes of public opinion. Twitter shows us often.

You can only really judge someone based on his actions. According to what we saw from Meghan Markle, she strove to repair all the problems of her family, or at least with her father.
In our minds, it seems that Meghan has been criticized by some of her siblings for not understanding her and not wanting to. This does not mean that the world of actresses does not often involve walking on your feet.
Some kernels of truth may exist in what Meghan's parents say about him. Yet this does not make his parents enjoy his name for ethical behavior.
Meghan is unlikely to meet Samantha Grant any time soon. Let's always hope that she can come to terms with Thomas Jr.
Can Meghan Markle logically fix things with her family?
One of the biggest downsides that Meghan can get back to his family, is simply to be royal. Meghan reportedly refused any help from the queen on family matters. Moreover, courtiers being involved in all communications, it makes practically impossible any direct method.
In the long term, we hope that Meghan can take some time to find at least part of her family. This will probably give him more peace of mind rather than letting him infect for years. Never to solve it could lead to a great regret that makes his future life a real tragedy.
