Articulate Ghana's actress Lydia Forson said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo managed to embarrbad herself publicly after refusing to follow the advice of some of the Ghanaians.
According to her, in a tweet, we made fun of the president at the Women Deliver 2019 conference in Vancouver about comments that women made up the majority of Ghana's population but that few actions Policies had been observed to lobby for greater inclusion in Ghana's political administration.
"We do not see enough dynamism and activism on the part of those who seek. I speak of dynamism where it counts … electing members of Parliament, controlling political parties, because it is they who allow our societies to make decisions.
"We are talking about decisions, not wishes and hopes, we are talking about decisions that will make a difference", President Akufo-Addo said. Her comments do not seem to have been very positive for activists such as Lydia Forson, who turned to social media to send the president in a tweet.
"It's our president who speaks at the Women Deliver 2019 conference in Vancouver. These images summarize the response of the majority of women and the panel to their views on gender-related activism. When we speak, you do not listen, you will go and make yourself laugh, huh, VERY PUBLIC! ???? "
