The Boeing 737 Max, the aircraft model involved in two fatal crashes in the last six months, including one earlier this month in Ethiopia that claimed the lives of 157 crewmembers and pbadengers, remains banned from European airspace.
The type of aircraft, the same one that plunged into the Java Sea in Indonesia last October in similar circumstances, echoed around the world, particularly by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) United States, which initially certified the aircraft, as a result of airworthiness concerns.
