Line Of Duty shows no signs of slowing down as its fifth series continues on BBC One.
Jed Mercurio's show has already delivered some twists (be warned that this link contains spoilers), asked us a lot of questions and we probably serve the most dangerous villain in the series of all time in the form of John Corbett ( Stephen Graham)
While fans of the show realize that no one is safe with Line Of Duty, some characters have survived until the fifth season.
So just who has hung there since the beginning of the show? Here's what you need to know …
Which Line Of Duty characters exist since the first series?
Up to now, only three characters have moved so far from the first series of the series in 2012.
The lucky trio who escaped the danger is Martin Compston's character Steve Arnott, despite the tight razors of the last series, Ted Hastings of Adrian Dunbar and Kate Fleming of Vicky McClure.
According to IMDB, they all appeared in 29 episodes of the series, a figure that would lead us to the end of the current series.
It remains to be seen whether it is obvious that all three will reach the end of the series. It is now obvious that no one is immune with regard to Line Of Duty and that actors live in fear to be killed.
Adrian explained, "People often think that we need to know in advance – from Jed or our agents – how many episodes we were booked for in the next series. "But you do not really know, you open the first script without knowing if it's Jason Watkins Time.
"And, I'll tell you, the more you have to do during the first episodes, the more you fear that it will force you out with a bang." We are all together until Jed pulls the trigger. "
How many episodes are there in Season 5 of Line Of Duty?
There are six in total, the third to be broadcast Sunday night.
When is the service line activated?
The series continues on BBC One tonight at 9pm.
If you missed episodes, you can catch them via BBC iPlayer.
