Many people probably think that the drama between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is almost forgotten history after the two have apparently moved. In truth, it is still a bit in the air since the official guard of their children does not have an official statement.
Although this remains unresolved, it is painful to see the discord created with the children of Jolie and Pitt. Some of them would have denied Pitt, while other sources said it was not true.
How will all this inevitably be settled? Let's go back and see what is at stake to create family peace.
The battle for custody continues, despite the divorce that took place two years ago
We Magazine recently recalled the sad reminder that custody issues between Jolie and Pitt are still settled. Often, it does not take two years to solve this problem, but it is a complicated family situation.
When you look back and see why, you may realize that it may take another year or more before an adequate child care plan is put in place.
The biggest problem now is the gap between the six kids who want to be around Brad Pitt. Earlier this year, we reported on the initial court battle of last summer and how the judge persuaded Pitt & Jolie to reach an amicable agreement. It was hoped that they would do it for the sake of their children.
Everything became chaotic when there was a charge that Pitt was not providing adequate support.
Pitt says he has paid millions to Jolie and the children
Not surprisingly, Pitt resisted the aforementioned accusations that he was not providing the money he had been asked to pay. He said he has paid millions in more than a year and beyond the initial agreement.
Despite financial data to support, at least three of the six children seem a little mixed about the willingness to spend time with their dad. This last holiday season, they spent time with Pitt through a monitored system. The process was put in place by Pitt for a brief period to prove to Jolie that he could be a responsible father.
Since then, there is still no complete agreement on final conditions with children, apart from a shared custody agreement concluded in December.
What should really happen here, if it is to continue working with a child care appraiser? Pitt is not happy that Jolie took their kids to a recently released event on the red carpet. Dumbo.
Is the shared custody process the only way to reach an agreement?
This shared custody agreement reached in December seemed to be an amicable solution in that it would give Pitt and Jolie equal time with their children. In April, they were both able to officially declare themselves single while acknowledging the need to settle their divorce proceedings.
By the time they do, most of their children can be adults and be able to make their own decisions. Some of them are already almost 18, but they still have a few years left.
When you add to the reality that three of the kids do not seem to want to be with their dad, should Pitt really force them to stay in his guard some of the time? Nobody really knows how they feel, but according to some reports, Maddox, Pax and Zahara just tolerated being with their father during Christmas.
As a parent, it may be best to look at what the kids really want and not force them to live with you if they do not really want to. As painful as it may be, it can be so once they turn 18 and we will see who their allegiance belongs to, including a possible revelation during interviews.
