After joining Arsenal in November 2017, Sven Mislintat was hailed as the person who would revolutionize the club's transfer business and bring in players who could have a real impact on the first team.
The Gunners, however, confirmed that the German transfer guru, who has been recruited as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, will leave the club on February 8th.
The club's football relations manager, Raul Sanllehi, will now be looking for a new football director to replace the former head of the Borussia Dortmund's watch.
So who are the best candidates to replace Mislintat?

He should be the No. 1 target of Arsenal.
Igli Tare – Lazio

Pablo Longoria – Valencia

Judge the potential of the player: 20
Knowledge of Scouting: Spain, Italy
Longoria, who was actually a scout in Newcastle in 2008, rose to become Juventus' selection chief in 2017, before moving to Valencia in 2018.
He would have had his say at signatures like Blaise Matuidi, Rodrigo Bentancur and Medhi Benatia last summer.

Michael Reschke – VfB Stuttgart

Antero Henrique – PSG

Aged 51, he was director of football in Porto from 2005 to 2013, before joining PSG in 2017.

Fabio Paratici – Juventus

Victor Orta – Leeds

The Spaniard previously held the position of chief scout at Zenit, Sevilla and Middlesbrough, before moving to Leeds as DOF in 2017.
He would have played a major role in bringing players like Mateusz Klich, Ezgjan Aliosjki, Pontus Jansson, Samu Saiz and Tyler Roberts on Elland Road.
Javier Ribalta – Zenit
