Who We Are – News – FIFA Appeal Committee by Kalusha Bwalya

The FIFA Appeal Committee has already been appointed by Mr Kalusha Bwalya, the President of the Football Association of Zambia and a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football, and reduced the sanction by the adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee in its decision dated April 12, 2018.

After badyzing and taking into account the circumstances of the case, the FIFA Appeal Committee decided to reduce the duration of the ban on taking part in any football-related activity imposed on Mr Bwalya this decision.

As a result, the ban imposed on Mr Bwalya on the decision of the FIFA Appeal Committee. Moreover, a fine of CHF 10,000 has been imposed on Mr Bwalya.

The decision of the FIFA Appeal Committee was sent to Mr Bwalya today, and came into force immediately.
