We first want to reaffirm our ideological position; that the extravagant celebration of Independence Day has no value, cause or reason. In spite of the growing economic difficulties, the former football star was totally insensitive to the suffering and shouting of the population and rejoiced at his rejoicing and jamboree that had caused the country a sum of about 1 , 5 million euros. This money would have been diverted for a better purpose instead of an Independence Day celebration that has no real purpose in the lives of ordinary Liberians. Even the presence on the stadium could indicate that the regime had lost its importance and respect, the basic tenants for whom the people trusted Weah were reduced, while its criminal and personal goal of filling and adjusting personal accounts of the president is his real goal. These are the questions to answer the next time you want people to come to your party:
Why do people show up when they seldom afford to afford a transportation fair? Why do people go when they can not even afford the cost of food at home? Why will people come forward when the opportunity to educate their children remains uncertain? Apart from its whimsical fanaticism, the dishonest regime must realize that the population is fed up with "yo yo", it needs a real change and not an orchestrated system. People attach importance to their lives rather than to the president's personal praise. The booty government must get to work, the current leadership needs an automatic reversal of its current procedures, otherwise, an irreparable gatecrash is expected.
The program, the speaker and the speech: What did Leymah do?
Gbowee says, why and what does she mean?
Our first remark is that Leymah Gbowee has betrayed the very principles of her struggle of the last decades – EQUALITY, JUSTICE, DEVELOPMENT OF PEACE AND THE ECONOMY. The biggest damage for ordinary people was to accept the invitation to party with people who you believe know and loot the national course. Having consented to speak at an Independence Day program criticized and marked by a loud and crying outcry for the boycott tells us more about Madame and not just about the Nobel laureate from Mrs. Gbowee. She knew that government officials drove vehicles that were willing to fund good schools and better education. But why did she not understand that the cost of the Independence Day celebration could be used to renovate the science building on the campus of the University of Liberia in Fendell, which is in ruins and in filth or better, that money could be used mini-clinics in and around the country to help provide primary health care to our population, but unfortunately she agreed to speak and received her share of 1, 5 million checks. It should now be noted that people of its type who claim to understand the magnitude of the problems in Liberia would have rather recommended that the money be used to finance projects that could help improve the lives of Liberian citizens rather than restore themselves. , winner and happy with just about a simple and simple program. A typical example of this person of tastes is Amb. Abraham M. Keita who would have refused any invitation on such an occasion.
OK, can we defend Mrs. Gbowee on the pretext that she wanted to serve the country or that she had gone there out of ignorance? No, we can not accept these frivolous claims as scapegoats. Madam was simply with the scheme and so it was an opportunity for her to have fun with the Pro Poor bandits in the open air. In fact, reputable people do not celebrate when their people are doomed and hopeless. Madam would have simply refused this call because he had no solution to the national appeal of the people.
At first, when we started listening, we applauded and believed that the Lady was a genius, but thank God we were saved from this calculated pretense. A brother intervened and told a very great perspective. Before being pronounced, the president and his relatives conduct a detailed examination: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Information thoroughly examines all the routes of the day and their composition. Ms. Gbowee's badysis was simply accepted by the scheme and was meant only to say, "Just let me say yes, the next day, people will forget about it and soon, you and your boys can continue to plunder the bonanza. "Mrs. Gbowee herself had the ability to challenge the government over state events since, not now, when she received a speech, after the president accepted everything. that she would have said.
Once again, this is the hypocrisy for which we have changed our minds. Madam and the regime have already gone to bed. When did she realize that the president was pillaging and dividing the state? When did she understand that the president had not yet declared and made public his badets? As critical voices, we must never be fooled by elites. they sit at the level of power and divide themselves with designated roles, all in order to achieve their monopoly of power. In their different roles, it is said to some to steal, others to criticize and others to defend. For Ms. Gbowee, knowing that she had a high profile might be appropriate for openly criticizing what she did and the desired result was seen. People danced in the ovation and praised it, people (elites) achieved their goals. Now, let's see after yesterday's speech, if the president declares his badets, if the government returns all the stolen money, if the budget is divided evenly among the sectors on the basis of preferences or if the president dismisses all the appointees incompetent and bring a new batch of competent on board. No, it will not happen, nothing will change. Even the demonstration organized by us this Wednesday, which asks the government to bring back our instructors to the University of Liberia, will give more results than the widely circulated and viral speech. In comparison, our protest scene deserves the profile pictures of most of you who celebrate Leymah Gbowee. What is the power of words when they have no effect or impact? Liberians need to rethink.
Liberians, we must begin to rethink and reshape our thoughts. We must try to decipher between real patriots and opportunists in the short term. Formal comes with consistencies, while the latter comes with an impression, but Liberians must know both, their core and their values, as this is the only way to get good leaders. Leymah Gbowee as a character of the latter was a symbol of contradiction for most of the day. How can Ms. Gbowee call for national unity and solidarity when the people she wants to unite have not attended the occasion for which she was speaking? Does she realize that people did not come on this occasion because of discontent and discontent? Madam is not an ideological reformer and these implications are therefore of no importance to her. For her, one must call her a national heroine even if people are not satisfied, even though people can not eat, even if people are in despair and in a deep grave.
Finally, we were deeply disappointed that the Lady gave no feasible solution or recommendation regarding the perceived problems she described. To change a poor country like Liberia, sustainable policies and sound implementation of these policies remain essential. Ok, we are divided but how can we reconcile? The opposition desperately needs power, how can we change that? Ok, Weah is a thug but how can we solve this problem? Yes, the president has only two women as ministers, how can we solve this problem? In fact, why did not she give the president a timetable to change these stories? It would not do it, simply because their goal is not to solve the problem, it's only theory. People are cohorts of the same clbad exploiters.
Repeat the same thing and expect a different solution, it's madness, that's what she said, and yes, we accepted that. But how many people have not told us that we are divided, that the government is corrupt or that the state is under a despot. People are aware and that's why they did not go out celebrating with their oppressors, but rather chose to stay at home while continuing to corroborate their next course of action. For her, she knew all that, and yet she went to feast on taxpayers' money, but she went to dine with the rogue regime.
Ms. Gbowee should not be deceiving us. She is not our clbadmate. She is part of the ruling clbad that has destroyed our common lives. She is part of the minority clique who shared the wealth of the country among them. We can not be fooled, and none of them disguise themselves to buy us a feeling. If she were one of us, she could have stayed home with us, but instead she left us hungry and thirsty to feast on people who repressed us. She had her share of a million and a half, no doubt. She can use it to relax. For us, we remain faithful to our conscience. We will never abandon this cause and maintain that the celebration of the 172nd anniversary of independence is worthless and has no real purpose.
