Netflix has removed a graphic scene in which the main character Hannah kills himself in "13 reasons".

The show drew accolades and critics on its first release in 2017.

Field experts have expressed concerns about the risks of "sensationalist treatment of youth suicide".

They cautioned against the possible implications of graphic depictions of suicide death for people with suicidal thoughts

For the person in difficulty, the identification of someone else in trouble can attract them.

The creator of the series, Brian Rorkey, tweeted a statement in which he baderted that the performance was meant to "ensure that no one would ever want to imitate it" and stated that the change would help the series to make "the best for as many people as possible".

Supporters of suicide prevention agree. Each year, about 1.4 million Americans try to survive their suicide attempt, but survive it.
